No Refunds – All Tuition and Fees Are Final
All tuition payments, enrollment fees, registration fees, application fees, kit fees, supply fees, technology fees, and any other charges paid to the school are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Once payment is submitted, no refunds, credits, chargebacks, or returns will be issued for any reason, including but not limited to:
• Withdrawal or voluntary discontinuation
• Dismissal or administrative termination
• Failure to attend or complete clock hours
• Failure to meet academic standards
• Failure to pass state board examinations
• Ineligibility for licensure
• Scheduling conflicts
• Personal, medical, or financial circumstances
• Dissatisfaction with instruction, curriculum, staff, or outcomes
Enrollment Is a Binding Financial Agreement
Enrollment constitutes a binding contractual agreement between the student and the school. By enrolling, the student acknowledges full financial responsibility for the total cost of tuition and all fees, regardless of attendance, participation, progress, or completion.
Tuition secures a seat in a licensed educational program, administrative processing, instructional planning, curriculum access, and compliance reporting obligations that begin immediately upon enrollment.
Compliance With State Board Requirements
The school operates in compliance with all applicable rules and regulations set forth by the Tennessee Board of Cosmetology and Barber Examiners and the Tennessee Department of Commerce & Insurance.
Students acknowledge and understand that:
• Licensure is governed solely by the State of Tennessee
• The school does not issue professional licenses
• Completion of a program does not guarantee licensure
• The state board determines eligibility to sit for examinations
• The state board determines approval or denial of licensure
Clock Hours and Attendance Responsibility
State law requires students to complete a specific number of clock hours for licensure eligibility.
Students are solely responsible for:
• Attending required instructional hours
• Maintaining satisfactory attendance
• Completing practical and theoretical requirements
• Meeting state-mandated documentation standards
Failure to complete required clock hours or meet attendance requirements does not entitle the student to a refund or tuition adjustment.
Withdrawal, Termination, and Dismissal
If a student withdraws voluntarily or is dismissed due to non-attendance, misconduct, academic failure, or policy violations, all tuition and fees remain owed and non-refundable.
Dismissal or withdrawal does not relieve the student of financial obligations incurred under this agreement.
Payment Plans
Payment plans are offered strictly as a convenience and do not alter the non-refund nature of tuition or fees.
Failure to make payments as agreed may result in:
• Suspension of classes
• Loss of access to instruction or materials
• Administrative penalties
• Dismissal from the program
• Referral to collections or legal action
Kits, Supplies, and Educational Materials
All kits, tools, supplies, uniforms, digital content, manuals, workbooks, and educational materials are non-returnable and non-refundable, whether opened or unopened.
These items are required to meet instructional and state board standards and are issued specifically to the enrolled student.
No Guarantees of Licensing or Employment
The school makes no guarantees regarding:
• State board exam passage
• Licensure approval
• Employment placement
• Income or business success
Educational instruction prepares students for eligibility to apply for licensure but does not control state board decisions or outcomes.
Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
Students agree not to initiate chargebacks or payment disputes.
Any chargeback or payment reversal will be treated as a breach of contract and may result in:
• Immediate dismissal
• Permanent revocation of access
• Referral to collections
• Legal action to recover unpaid tuition, fees, penalties, and costs
The student agrees to be responsible for all costs incurred by the school due to chargebacks, including administrative and legal fees.
Acknowledgment and Acceptance
By enrolling, submitting payment, or accessing school materials, the student affirms that they:
• Have read and understood this policy
• Acknowledge compliance with Tennessee state board requirements
• Understand licensure is not guaranteed
• Accept full financial responsibility
• Agree that all payments are final
This policy applies to all programs, certifications, courses, workshops, and training formats, whether in-person, hybrid, or online.
